Stark Tower but Smallish [Sunday afternoon]

It had been weirdly awkward between Steve and Tony since the emotional baggage day. Tony had been working in the lab, Steve had been ~~eating all the Moobyburgers~~ working out, restocking the cheese fridge, and checking in with his colleagues at home.

But today, Father's Day, Steve was giving Tony another hour before going into the lab and dragging Tony out, feeding him, and making him talk. He missed them being them.

Yes, it was going to be a struggle against his own nature to just allow something to happen without doing something to get there.

But Tony was at least trying to do as Steve asked, only wriggling a little bit.

"There you go," Steve murmured, adjusting his hips slightly. "You're so close--"

Steve wasn't the most natural with dirty talk.

And yet it was still working for Tony. Maybe because of how Steve sounded while he said it. Getting Steve to the edge did a lot of the legwork.

Which was why Tony practically sobbed as he was right at the precipice there.

"You're perfect," Steve whispered, nipping down on Tony's earlobe.

...that was cheating and you knew it, Steve.

Tony didn't take too much more to come and it was definitely a relief when it happened.

Steve sighed happily, then rested his head against Tony's back and prepared to make Tony as messy as he'd requested.

Well, they'd just have to take a shower together after this. A real hardship to use the overly fancy bathroom.

Tony nodded, making an encouraging noise as he shuddered through it all.

Steve whispered Tony's name as he came, keeping everything soft and quiet.

And now the room had gotten oh so quiet with just ragged breaths slowing down to something more normal. Tony mumbled something thoroughly unintelligible into the pillow, but it was definitely complimentary of Steve.
