Stark Tower but Smallish [Sunday afternoon]

It had been weirdly awkward between Steve and Tony since the emotional baggage day. Tony had been working in the lab, Steve had been ~~eating all the Moobyburgers~~ working out, restocking the cheese fridge, and checking in with his colleagues at home.

But today, Father's Day, Steve was giving Tony another hour before going into the lab and dragging Tony out, feeding him, and making him talk. He missed them being them.

"Shower," Tony said with a kiss. "Then you can get the bath as hot as you need it to be."

And Tony could wait for it to cool a little.

Steve smiled at him. "You have the best ideas."

Ideas where Steve could steam himself like a lobster.

"Genius," Tony agreed, grinning before realizing that pulling away from Steve was pretty gross.

Steve made a little ew face. "Shower," Steve agreed, getting up from the bed.

"...I might need some help getting up." Did that make you happy, Steve?

It made him so happy. Look at that grin. "Really?"

"You're ridiculous," Tony said with a laugh. "But, yes."

"I don't mind being ridiculous," Steve said, holding out his hand to help Tony.

"Well then, we're both in luck because I enjoy it too," Tony said, taking his hand and wincing a little as he sat up.

Steve's cheeks went pink. "We can do it again."

"Anytime," Tony agreed. "But next time I get to pamper you."

"Today you needed it more," Steve said, pulling them both into the ridiculous bathroom.

It was a perfectly normal bathroom! That was just supersized.

"We both needed it."

Steve nodded, leaning in for a kiss. "Feeling better?"

Amazing sex fixed so many things.

"Yes," Tony sighed, kissing him back. "Things just always go a mile a minute up here."

"They do," Steve said. "I like that I can get you to slow down, though."

"You do an admirable job at that too," he replied fondly.

Steve's cheeks went pink and pleased as he started the shower.

"Thank you," Tony said, wrapping himself around Steve from behind. "Seriously."

"Always," Steve murmured, sliding his fingers through Tony's and squeezing.

Tony kissed his shoulder for that. "Now skooch. I'm sticky."

"Yes, sir," Steve said, smiling and stepping away.

"I'm delicate, don't you know?"

Steve snorted. "You're tough as nails."

"Depends on who you ask," Tony said, laughing as he stepped under the spray.
