Tony's Greek Island, Friday afternoon [NFB for distance]

Tony had flown Steve, Patriot and himself to their Greek island as an apology for forgetting to emerge from the lab for the first part of the break between classes. (The Greek island had been a gift for something else. Steve tried not to think about it too hard. Sometimes he had to let Tony be Tony.)

The weather was hard to complain about: 80 with bright sun and a light breeze, perfect for laying out next to the pool wearing nothing but a smile (after going for a long, clothed, hike and having a big lunch because Steve had to be Steve, too). Sunscreen had been applied because even the super serum couldn't completely counter the Irishness, and Steve had a book about World War II that was getting enough wrong to keep him entertained.

Mmm, vacation. He tilted his head towards the door Tony had disappeared through a few minutes earlier. "How are the margaritas doing?" he called out.

"Well, what can I say? I was inspired to move quickly there."

"I appreciated it," Steve said between kisses. "Thank you."

"No one comes for my people," Tony murmured firmly.

"You'd think they'd know that by now," Steve said, kissing Tony just as firmly.

"Mine," Tony repeated, clinging a bit desperately.

"I'm fine," Steve said soothingly.

Tony kissed him again because responding to that in a way that was reasonable and not weird wasn't happening right now.

"You can keep checking, though," Steve told him.

"Thank you." He needed it right now.

[heroic_jawline]

"Whatever you need, sweetheart," Steve murmured.

"You. Just like this," Tony murmured,

Steve slid his fingers through Tony's hair, drawing him closer. "I'm not going anywhere."

"I'd like to keep it that way," Tony replied, kissing him again.

"You have me trapped on your private plane," Steve teased. "Do what you will."

"Pants off in that case," Tony said with a grin that was only slightly forced. He was relaxing! It was happening!

"You too, since you have to get out of my lap," Steve said.

Tony kissed him again before scooting back to get the rest of his clothing off.

Steve wriggled out of his pants too and gave Tony a little wolf whistle.

"You flirt," he teased, pushing Steve back for another kiss.

"Just providing encouragement," Steve said.

[imafuturist]

"Appreciated," Tony said, happy to be able to settle back into playful flirting and not weird emotional issues because someone attacked his vacation home.

Steve patted his lap. "C'mon back."

"Don't have to tell me twice," Tony murmured, taking back his spot.

"Much better," Steve said approvingly, scraping his nails up Tony's spine.

"Love you," Tony murmured, shifting closer to try leaving marks on Steve's neck and shoulder.
