Tony's Greek Island, Friday afternoon [NFB for distance]

Tony had flown Steve, Patriot and himself to their Greek island as an apology for forgetting to emerge from the lab for the first part of the break between classes. (The Greek island had been a gift for something else. Steve tried not to think about it too hard. Sometimes he had to let Tony be Tony.)

The weather was hard to complain about: 80 with bright sun and a light breeze, perfect for laying out next to the pool wearing nothing but a smile (after going for a long, clothed, hike and having a big lunch because Steve had to be Steve, too). Sunscreen had been applied because even the super serum couldn't completely counter the Irishness, and Steve had a book about World War II that was getting enough wrong to keep him entertained.

Mmm, vacation. He tilted his head towards the door Tony had disappeared through a few minutes earlier. "How are the margaritas doing?" he called out.

"I am going to make this the best flight of your life," Tony decided with that. Because it was too sweet.

Steve smiled. "Challenge accepted."

His history of flying was generally speaking, not the stuff of great memories, so he was happy to change that.

Tony kissed him again, intent on getting him nice and riled up for this.

Steve melted against him, no longer self-conscious.

"Supplies?" Tony asked, letting out a pleased little sigh.

"It's your plane," Steve said teasingly. "Are they under with the floatation devices?"

Tony laughed and nipped at his bottom lip. "It is our plane. Hold on," he said pulling away from Steve to grab for their abandoned pants.

"Hurry back, it's drafty," Steve said.

"Ah ha!" Tony said, fishing out some lube from his pants. Which was there the whole time or on the way to the jet. That was for Steve to decide.

Steve laughed. "You were optimistic this morning," he teased.

"I hade a nude super soldier sunbathing in my Greek villa," Tony replied, leaning in for another kiss. "Hope springs eternal with that."

Steve laughed. "I was quite a brazen hussy, as my ma would say."

"Ooo, I like that phrase," Tony said with a playful grin. "Brazen hussy."

"I thought you might," Steve said, kissing Tony on the tip of his nose.

"It's cute," Tony said, settling on his lap once again.

"It's old fashioned," Steve said, smiling.

"Don't tell anyone, but my husband is pretty old fashioned. It suits him."

Steve leaned in and kissed him, old-fashioned and earnest, cupping his hand around the back of Tony's head to hold him close.

"Now I really like it," Tony sighed, resting his forehead against Steve's.

Steve smiled. "I think you're swell," he teased.

"Swell," Tony repeated, all fondness.

[heroic_jawline]

"Swell," Steve said, nodding.

[imafuturist]

"I hope you're proud that I haven't made a swelling joke."

[heroic_jawline]

"I was waiting for it," Steve admitted.

"I'm being romantic!" While for sure thinking about bawdy jokes.
