The Amazingly Awesome and Completely Necessary Ballroom, Stark Tower...let, Friday evening

It was mid-September, so that meant it was wholesome activities time, at least according to the targeted ads Steve was seeing, and so he decided that the best idea for the afternoon was to take Tony apple picking in Maryland.

A slightly competitive few hours later and he was bringing a truly ridiculous number of bushels of apples into the ballroom. "Do you need help with yours?" Steve asked, grinning over his shoulder at Tony.

Steve's cheeks went pink. "Well, maybe."

Tony laughed and tugged him into a kiss. "I like your accent."

"Sucker for a kid from Brooklyn, huh?" Steve asked, dropping into the accent.

"Yes, I am," Tony replied, positively beaming at that.

"That's pretty strange," Steve teased.

"Oh, should I be going for another Manhattanite?" Tony asked with a grin.

"No," Steve said, kissing him firmly. "You're mine."

Tony laughed at that, already knowing it was the answer before he'd said it. "Why, thank you."

"It's nothing to be thanked for," Steve said, kissing him again.

"I like you calling me that," Tony murmured into that kiss.

[heroic_jawline]

"Mine?" Steve repeated.

"Uh huh."

Look, he was allowed to enjoy that. They were married and all.

"Of course you're mine," Steve said, kissing him again.

"I appreciate the reminder of it from time to time," Tony said, leaning into Steve's space for more of that.

"I'll remind you more often," Steve promised, wrapping his hands around Tony's hips.

"My hero," he teased gently.

Steve laughed. "That's all it takes?"

[imafuturist]

"I like being someone's," Tony said in that one tone that said he was deeply uncomfortable with how true that was and therefore had to make light of it.

Steve cupped his hands around Tony's face and kissed him with intent. "You're mine."

"All yours," Tony said a bit breathlessly.

"Let's leave the apples," Steve suggested, nipping Tony's lower lip.

"The many, many apples?" They were going to donate so much of them.

[heroic_jawline]

"We got slightly carried away," Steve laughed.

[imafuturist]

"Well, at least some people will eat them."

Mostly Steve.

"A lot of people," Steve said. "I can take some to the vets, too, when I go."
