Apartment Above Stark Industries, Monday afternoon

Steve was supposed to be in upstate New York right now, but a series of, um, illuminating text messages from Tony had made him change plans on Sunday.

And now here he was in bed, drinking Gatorade, looking for sofa replacements on his phone and trying not to die of blushing.

"Yes, please," Tony said, grinning down at him playfully. "Husband mine."

Steve smiled softly. "That never, ever gets old."

Tony smiled and kissed him again, much sweeter than before. "I will always be thrilled to say it."

Steve lingered in the kiss for a moment, glad for a week that gave him this kind of closeness.

And a 'valid' excuse to stay home.

"Glad you got home so quickly," Tony murmured quietly.

"Any chance to see you," Steve murmured back.

"You old sap," he teased gently.

"Have you seen you?" Steve replied, nuzzling Tony's neck.

"Much too busy looking at you," Tony assured him, wrapping his arms around Steve like he'd never let him go.

Steve blushed. "I do not deserve you."

"You underestimate yourself," Tony replied, kissing him deeply.

"Only in some areas," Steve murmured, falling back against the pillows and pulling Tony with him.

Tony laughed and put his hands on Steve's shoulders like he could keep Steve pinned in place like that. "I am going to make you feel as beloved as I possibly can."

Steve rested his hands on Tony's hips, squeezing hard enough to leave light marks. "Give it your best try."

Which meant Tony was helpless but to wriggle a little in his lap. "I have plans," he said, pressing in for another hungry kiss. "So many plans."

"Tell me," Steve murmured, shivering slightly.

He loved listening to Tony talk.

"I am going to pin you down and ride you until I'm satisfied," Tony informed him. Which, this week? Could be for a while.

Steve let out a low moan. "Pin me down with hands or with something else?" he asked, rolling his hips.

"I think you can be good and keep your hands up for me," he suggested. "Don't you?"

Steve smiled and moved his arms up--right after pressing into the light bruises he'd already left on Tony's hips. "I can."

"See how good you are," Tony sighed, knowing that refreshing those bruises would be next on the list of things to do for them.

"Very," Steve promised, voice going low and raspy.

"Gorgeous," Tony murmured, leaning in to suck a mark onto Steve's throat as he groped around for the lube.

Steve sighed softly and tilted his head up to give Tony more access. "Harder," he said.

He wanted marks to last longer than five minutes.

Tony abandoned his search to do just that. Because he couldn't possibly refuse Steve anything when he sounded like that.
