Apartment Above Stark Industries, Monday afternoon

Steve was supposed to be in upstate New York right now, but a series of, um, illuminating text messages from Tony had made him change plans on Sunday.

And now here he was in bed, drinking Gatorade, looking for sofa replacements on his phone and trying not to die of blushing.

"Yeah," Tony agreed, shivering a little as he kissed Steve's cheek and then neck.

Steve sighed and shivered, his body already trying to recover.

That earned him another quick kiss before Tony was checking on the cuffs and unfastening them to look after Steve's wrists. He tsked a little, entirely aimed at himself for not making them padded enough on the inside.

"I'll be fine in five minutes," Steve assured him.

And ready to go again. The superserum was ridiculous this week.

"I'll make them better," he promised, bringing one of Steve's wrists up to kiss.

"You always do," Steve said, eyes soft and fond.

Tony smiled as he kissed the other wrist next. "Broke the headboard."

Oh, that smile was a pleased little smirk now.

Steve's blush went all the way to his hair. "Yeah, we might've."

"More things to order," he said brightly.

"This week is so expensive," Steve sighed. "The handcuffs worked, though."

"Just a few tweaks needed," Tony agreed, sighing as he rolled off of Steve to enjoy the very brief afterglow this week.

Steve reached out immediately to touch Tony as much as he couldn't do a few minutes ago.

Tony grinned, chuckling slightly as he turned to meet him for another kiss. "You need a shower."

They needed a shower, he meant.

"You made me work up a sweat," Steve teased.

"You're damn right I did." Tony would be very proud of that fact.

Steve nuzzled Tony's nose with his. "And the image of you up there is gonna be playing on a loop the next time I'm away," he whispered.

"Next time I'll make sure to get a picture for you," Tony promised. Because a dirty text to get him home clearly wasn't enough!

Steve should not be able to show how interested he was in that yet, but--

"We'll do it again and get a picture."

"Done and done," Tony said, pulling him into a kiss.

"My husband is the best," Steve declared, running his hands through Tony's hair and thoroughly ruining it.

Tony laughed and tugged him closer still, rolling to put Steve on top of him. "Your husband is very lucky."

Steve beamed at him. "We both are."

Tony tugged him into another kiss for that. "C'mon. You can even run a bath that's too hot for most humans."

Steve grinned. "That sounds amazing. Let's go."

He popped up, making the bed creak even more alarmingly.

Tony froze, giving the bed a bemused look. "Okay, so spare bed tonight."
