Apartment Above Stark Industries, Christmas Eve Day

Steve was packing up his sweaters and a few additional gifts he'd picked up at the suddenly convenient Christmas market (after having partaken in sausages, mulled wine, and every variety of crepe he could try) and called out into the rest of the apartment: "Tony--you ready yet?"

Steve temporarily stopped his blanket impression to lean up and kiss Tony. "I love getting you to make those noises, too. Feels like it's sounds only I've ever heard."

"You are very good at dragging then out of me," Tony replied, trailing his fingers along Steve's neck.

Steve shivered, then smiled. "It's my very favorite thing to do."

"Oh, you say the sweetest things, Captain Blanket," he teased.

Steve wrinkled his nose at him. "And here I'd gotten you a present..."

That he'd almost sent back about ten times because he was still a repressed guy from the 1930s when it came to sex.

Tony tapped a finger to Steve's lips. "It was a lovely gift. Blows mind right out of the water."

A trip to Japan and a watch worth more than a car. Maybe two cars.

"It did not," Steve said, "but I love you for saying so."

"I get to show you new places and things. It's the best part," he murmured.

Steve kissed him again. "Let me get us some food," he murmured, "and you can show me another new thing."

"Hope you've practiced your chopstick skills," Tony replied, grinning up at him.

Steve grinned back. "I have," he said proudly.

Tony surged up for another kiss. "Impress me, Captain Rogers."

Steve sucked on his lower lip before finally pulling away. "If I ask for hot pot, they'll know what I mean?"

"Nabemono," Tony replied, sitting up fully to hunt around for a robe or something. "I set it up in advance."

"Nabemono," Steve repeated carefully before padding--naked, since Tony enjoyed that--over to the phone to place the order.

"I think I heard them saying sake, too," he reported as he came back.

Tony hummed in approval of both the budity and sake. "Get me tipsy, darling."

Steve gave him a soft kiss as he returned. "You get very cuddly when you're tipsy."

"Just keep me safe and warm and I'll never stop cuddling you."

Probably with a very cuddly hand job in there. Because sake.

"I'll do my best," Steve said, climbing back into bed and wrapping Tony in his arms. "Warm I can fix now. Safe requires your suits, too."

"Oh, you think I can't call one here in a heartbeat?" This was Japan. Iron Man was super loved here compared to other coubtries.

That should not be as sexy as Steve found it, right? He bit his lower lip and smiled. "Nice."

"You can swoon manfully in my arms," he teased, pressing a kiss to Steve's lips.

Steve laughed. "Do I do a lot of manful swooning?" he asked.
