Apartment Above Stark Industries, Christmas Eve Day

Steve was packing up his sweaters and a few additional gifts he'd picked up at the suddenly convenient Christmas market (after having partaken in sausages, mulled wine, and every variety of crepe he could try) and called out into the rest of the apartment: "Tony--you ready yet?"

"I'm sorry it was a trend of him becoming a jerk in general," Steve murmured back.

Steve kissed him again. "Doesn't make me less sorry," he said, reaching for a pair of chopsticks before his stomach made a deeply unsexy gurgling, growling noise.

Tony snickered into Steve's shoulder. "Eat. I've got plans for you."

"I'm all ears," Steve said, picking up a piece of meat and carefully maneuvering it into the hot broth.

"I have gifts to give you and then gifts to try out on you," he teased, putting a few veggies into the broth to cook a little.

"Any Iron Man themed?" Steve teased back, taking out one of the veggie bits and offering it to Tony.

Tony hummed, smiling before accepting the bite. "I went with your colors since you look so amazing in them."

Steve blushed, but smiled as he kissed Tony lightly before going back to the pot for something else to feed him. "Thank you?"

Tony beat him to it, fishing out a bite to offer to him. "Blue's your color."

Steve smiled around the chopsticks. "I'm glad you think so. You look good in everything."

Maybe not a plaid jacket with tiger stripes, but he'd still try...

HE WENT BLIND AND FORGOT WHAT PATTERNS WERE.

"Look better out of them."

"And you're so modest, too," Steve teased, adding more food to the hot pot.

"I'm too amazing for that," he replied, pouring Steve a small glass of sake.

"Cannot dispute that," Steve said with a little grin, kissing Tony's nose and taking the sake.

Tony grinned, lounging a little on the bed and using Steve as a pillow. "You do too, don't worry."

Steve kissed him on the forehead and held out some more of the veggies. "I love you."

Tony hummed again, more than pleased with being pampered. "You're the best."

"That's just because I'm feeding you," Steve said with a little grin.

"Only part of it," Tony assured him. "The other part is you just being you."

Steve smiled over at him. "And that's why you're my favorite," he said.

Tony gave him a slightly boozy tasting kiss for that. "Merry Christmas, sweetheart."

"Merry Christmas, Tony," Steve whispered. "And many more."

"Happily," he replied with a dopey grin.
