Mini-Avengers Tower (Now Complete With Mini-Avenger), Saturday morning

Okay, so Steve was completely lost. And maybe (not that he'd admit it) a little winded from walking all over trying to find the kitchen. He took a left instead of a right at the end of the hallway and found the elevator.

"THIS IS SWELL!" he yelled as the doors opened and he stepped in and mashed all of the buttons to light them up.

That was Steve's day sorted until Tony found him or he got dizzy going up and down...

"I... had a butler who did that," Tony said, knowing just how weird that sounded. "But I think I can manage oatmeal."

"A butler?" Steve repeated. "Do you have one now too?"

"He's virtual now." Anthony, don't say stuff like that to someone from the Great Depression.

"Virtual?" Steve repeated. "What's that?"

"Well." Oh, explaining that. "It's like a person that we make that's not physical."

"Bucky has an imaginary friend, too," Steve told him helpfully.

"...did he?" Oh yes, tell him more about this embarrassing detail.

Steve nodded. "He gets Bucky in a lot of trouble because he's naughty."

"Is he you?" Because Steve. Always because Steve.

"Not every time," Steve hedged.

"Uh huh," Tony said, laughing. "Okay, so hot cocoa for breakfast?"

Steve's jaw dropped. "We can do that?!"

"We can," Tony replied with a grin.

"Wow-ee!"

Sorry, Tony. This was who you chose to marriage at an age-appropriate time.

"Wow-ee," Tony said, laughing to himself as he got the mugs down.

Steve stuffed his hands up into his sweater sleeves as he watched avidly. "Should I get the milk?"

"If you could," Tony said, looking back at him over his shoulder. "And we can even add marshmallows... if other you hasn't eaten them all."

"I sure hope he hasn't," Steve said earnestly. "I never have 'em!"

"Well, you can have... five of them." Anthony, they were full size marshmallows.

"FIVE?!"

That was very loud and squeaky for such a small kid.

"Is that not enough? Too much?"

Oh, he was doing great here.

"Give me an over/under here."

"Five is good."

Five was like two too many.

Tony nodded, trusting him even though he really shouldn't. "Milk."

"Milk!" Steve agreed, pausing for a moment to gawk at the size of the fridge.

"We'll order lunch," Tony promised. Because lol cooking.
