Steve had reached out to Natasha (through several layers of encryption and burner phones because Natasha, at least, understood how to lay low) and was now in his very best incognito outfit (beard, jeans, baseball cap, sunglasses) with Tony (in generally the same outfit), trying to appear casual as they walked around one of those giant outdoor outlet malls waiting for Natasha to make contact.

"She said she'd drop a pin with where she is in--" Steve glanced at his watch, "--eight and a half minutes. You've got the test with you?"

He'd asked that about four times already, but he was anxious.

"Only you," he sighed, clutching at Steve's shoulders tightly.

Steve wriggled his hands free so he could take hold of Tony, moving his hand in counterpoint to their hips.

"Like that," Tony said, easily showering him with praise for this.

Steve groaned. He'd been keyed up for a while, which he knew had been Tony's intention, but he didn't want to loose control just yet.

"Sweetheart," he murmured, adding a whole series of endearments as he moved.

Steve was a sucker for pet names, especially when they were being slow and sweet like this and his entire body shuddered to hear it.

It was just what they needed now, sweet and slow... but building up to something.

"Steve," he finally said, sounding strained.

"Me too," Steve murmured. "Go."

Well, that was really the only permission that Tony needed to chase after his completion with a groan. And make just a complete mess of Steve's stomach.

Well, Steve was returning the favor elswewhere, so...marriage!

Tony slumped forward a little, trying to catch his breath.

Maybe at T&C? They had everything.

Steve carded his fingers through Tony's hair. "Well."

"Feeling better?" Tony asked, pressing in to wrap an arm around Steve and practically mashing his face up against Steve's neck.

"Yes," Steve said. "You?"

"Much." Oh, now he was for sure nuzzling Steve.

Steve rumbled out a low laugh. "You turn into a cat when you've been well loved."

"Maybe it's because of this place." Nah, he was just a cat person.

"Just don't literally turn into a cat," Steve said, nudging his nose into Tony's.

"Not right now, no," Tony agreed. "The last thing we need right now."

Steve leaned in for another soft, lingering kiss. "I like you you-shaped."

"I do as well, trust me there." Even if the past year had been a bit... dodgy with it.

It really had been. Steve wrapped both arms around Tony and held on tightly. "Love you."

Tony hummed and soaked up that affection. "Love you too."

Tony deserved all the affection, especially since Steve figured this Skrull thing was bringing up memories Tony would rather not relive.

He pressed a soft kiss to Tony's hair.

"We're good, right?" Tony asked, kind of sleepily. Look, he wasn't in his twenties anymore or anything close to it.
