Steve headed through the door, smiling at Tony. "Okay, engineering genius. How'd they get the bus into that room?" he asked, reaching up to loosen the tie on his uniform.

"Please, just a little--" He was going to just make of even bigger mess of Steve.

Horribly traumatize the dry cleaner, yes!

"Little what?" Steve asked, shifting his angle slightly.

"Yes," Tony hissed, coming before he even realized it was just that he needed.

Steve gasped and tumbled over the edge right after him. "God--"

Tony gasped and clung to him, finding it very, very hard to remember that there was more outside his brain than this one moment. Which was a compliment, really.

Steve was shaking a little from the adrenaline crash. "Wow."

It was definitely a thing for Tony as well. He made a little noise of agreement, eyes going heavy as he trusted Steve to keep from crushing him under his weight.

Steve slid over. "I need to take this coat off," he mumbled.

But that was effort.

"Stay," Tony mumbled, rolling onto his side to hold onto him.

"I wouldn't go far," Steve soothed. "The ribbons can't be comfortable to lay on."

Tony made a disgruntled noise, but didn't fight any attempts to pull away. Mostly because he was rolling onto his stomach to avoid the sting from the hedding on his skin.

Steve kissed Tony between his shoulder blades. "I love you."

"Love you too," he replied with a happy little sigh at the gesture.

It was too engrained into Steve to take care of that jacket for him to just let it puddle onto the floor. He got out of bed with a little groan, took his clothes off and laid them carefully on a chair and then padded into the bathroom to get some lotion and a glass of water for Tony.

By that point Tony was dozing, eyes half only opening once he heard Steve come closer. "Hey."

"Hey," Steve replied, kissing his back again. "You thirsty?"

Tony hummed and lifted his hand in a vague agreement with that. "Don't think I'm moving anytime soon."

Steve smirked slightly. "Good to hear," he said.

"You sound smug."

For some reason.

"I like to see you happy," Steve said.

"Very happy," Tony agreed with a sigh.

"Good," Steve said, warming the lotion between his hands before carefully rubbing it into Tony's sore backside.

Tiny winced before relaxing into the touch again. "You?"

"Very, very good," Steve murmured, kissing the small of Tony's back. "Too sore?" he checked.

"Won't be good for much, but---it's good," he murmured back, resting his cheek on his crossed forearms. "Good pain, right?"
