The Stark Towerlet, Wednesday Evening

This was far from their first time with pollen, which was why JARVIS knew to keep certain items on order so that when Steve and Tony finally emerged from their room there was something to eat and drink.

"Want a power bar?" Steve asked, standing in front of the open cabinet in a pair of Stark branded shorts.

Tony was trying to not find that so hot, but he was. And he didn't even have the energy to do something about it.

"Please," he said, flopping against the counter top of the kitchen island.

Steve tossed him a blue Gatorade from the fridge to go with the power bars. "You're welcome," he said, eyes lingering on Tony's chest.

Tony chugged the Gatorade, feeling like he'd maybe run a marathon since last he drank. Which was probably an accurate assessment of the week.

"I'm shocked the bed has held up so far."

"Excellent engineering," Steve agreed. "I married a brilliant, sexy genius."

Tony made a pleased sound, idly reaching out for him with one hand as he demolished that power bar. "You're trying to set me off."

"Again," Steve confirmed with a little smirk.

"Again," Tony agreed, snorting fondly. "And here I thought our anniversary was a splurge."

"Oh, it definitely was," Steve said with a smile, kissing him again. "But we can do a repeat."

Tony hummed into that kiss, wrapping his arms around Steve helplessly. "If you don't mind me being a bit of a pillow princess while I get my energy back."

Coffee was being brewed, but weirdly enough, it wasn't good for hydration!

Steve kissed a slow trail up Tony's neck. "I don't mind."

He was easily distracted this week.

"Here, sweetheart?" Tony sighed, tilting his head for Steve.

"There's far away," Steve countered.

"There's very far away," he agreed, hands finding Steve's hips to pull him flush against Tony. He was bad at the whole pillow princess thing, wasn't he?

He really was, but Steve wasn't complaining. "Here is very nice," he murmured.

Tony hummed in agreement pressing a hand down those Stark branded shorts to squeeze Steve's cheek. "Very nice indeed."

Steve chuckled. "No point in saying to keep your hands to yourself, huh," he teased.
