Stark Tower But Shrunken, Saturday morning

The party had been a success, and Steve and Tony had fallen into bed and slept hard for the next nine hours.

Tony was still asleep, but Steve had woken up hungry and had headed into the kitchen on the search for leftovers. He was now surrounded by eggs, chopped up onions, leftover roasted boar, and slight wafting of smoke because the omelet pan had gotten entirely too hot. The smoke alarm hadn't gone off, but he was pretty sure JARVIS was going to tattle on him soon. He hoped he would be able to counter Tony's sleepy grumpiness by feeding him leftover cake--and strong, boozy coffee--for breakfast while he cleaned up.

Steve grinned. "Have at it," he said teasingly to Tony.

Did Tony make an 'eee' sound? Yes. But you could never prove it.

He pulled Steve into another kiss, coffee mostly forgotten.

"Good morning to you, too," Steve said, pulling Tony in close.

"Very glad to have our privacy again," Tony murmured.

"Me too," Steve said, kissing Tony's throat.

Tony hummed and tilted his head back for Steve to keep that up. "After our last class, should we get going for the holiday?"

Steve smiled. "To New York? Or somewhere else, too?"

"New York," Tony agreed. "We can pretend we'll get a white Christmas when it'll probably just be rainy at best."

Steve wrinkled up his nose. "But at least it'll be warm inside."

Warm enough, for instance, to walk around only in boxers.

"We can stay in your hotel which I had redecorated." To look less like Howard.

"But it's in Brooklyn," Steve said.

"Oh, did you want to stay in Manhattan?" Tony asked, beaming at him.

"I thought you'd want to be there," Steve admitted.

"Well, yes, but it's not all about me." As much as he wanted it to be.

Steve smiled. "How extensive were the renovations?"

Because last time had been strange.

"Well, I just asked them to go more modern abd I think JARVIS handled the budget."

extensive, Steve.

Steve chuckled and rested his hands on Tony's hips. "So this would be a fact finding mission."

"If it doesn't work, we can always go elsewhere!" Don't let him buy another hotel, Steve.

"Like Manhattan," Steve teased.

"It's not my fault that Manhattan is just so central for things," Tony replied oh so kindly.

"It depends on what kind of things," Steve said airily.

"All the fun things in the city," he teased.

Steve's fingers curled to tickle Tony. "Be nice."

"I'm very nice!" Ehhhh.

"When you want to be," Steve added for him.
