Avengers HQ, Upstate New York [Monday]
Steve had stalled long enough but Tony was still a pony and he needed to check in upstate, which was how he ended up booking a portal and walking through with Patriot on one leash and his husband on another.
Not dirty.
It had never even occurred to Steve that it could be dirty.
The team greeted Patriot happily and then gave Steve expectant looks about the miniature pony he'd brought with him.
"That's Tony," Steve said, sighing.
"Ooooh, really?" the other Tony said, lighting up. "Rhodey, get the equipment."
"There will be no equipment."
"But the science, Rogers!"
"No science, Stark!"
"A tiny bit of science," Tony wheedled, grabbing for the leash. "It's so important."
This could go on a while.
