Museum of Modern Art, New York City [Tony's version, NFB due to distance]
Steve had surprised Tony with a very New York date night last night: dinner and a Broadway show, then hot dogs from a cart run by a guy who clearly hated them, his life, and this interaction in particular. The day had been spent lounging around in Central Park (Steve had been very careful not to get burned) and as the sun began setting, Steve stood up and grinned at Tony, hoping any nerves he had were being hidden. "C'mon. We've got some place to be."

Was it strange that the museum seemed mostly deserted on a late Saturday afternoon? Probably, yes.

"Yes, dear," he said, falling into step with Steve easily.

Jan was in the room, beaming brighter than the candles, and holding up two tuxes. Sam and Rhodey were in the corner, talking with Natasha and a court official who blinked hard at seeing Steve, well, alive, in this timeline.
"We're getting hitched," Steve said, grinning. "Surprise."

He'd worked so hard to do it.

Probably Natasha.

"Get your tux on and meet me back here," Steve said as Jan came over with hugs and clothing.

Steve laughed. "I think I can handle getting changed into a suit, Sam, thanks."

Which, because his world, featured Iron Man colors on it. Because of course it did. "Do you think he did the dove thing?" Tony asked, straightening his bow tie before Jan slapped his hands away to do it herself.
"Don't be silly. Steve has taste."

"How do I look?" he asked, adjusting his cuffs and looking at Sam.
"You have seen yourself in a suit before," Sam told him. "You know how good you look."

"Only in sourcing," she said. "This was all what Steve wanted."
