Stark Industries, Saturday afternoon

Steve came into the shop and let his shield drop to the ground with a muted clang. He wiped at the dust on his face, then squared his shoulders with visible effort and called out, "Tony? You around?"

Another lead, another fruitless Bucky search, this time in stupidly muggy Singapore. Steve needed a shower, a pizza or three, and a nap.

And a hug, but he was kind of hoping he wouldn't need to ask for one of those.

"I'm back!" he added a little needlessly.

"I want to come with you inside me," Tony said, moving forward into Steve's hand without holding himself back.

"Oh, we're definitely doing that," he agreed, "but I'm not doing this with you without prep, sweetheart."

"Better find that bottle then," Tony replied with a bright smile. "I don't know if I can manage another go after this without a nap. Do not disappoint."

He was teasing! Well, about the disappointing thing.

"Oh, I've got faith in you," Steve said with a little smirk, standing up from the sofa and giving Tony a long, lingering kiss. "Stay put. I'll be right back."

"Maybe bring something for the mess too," he shot back with a grin.

"You're hilarious," Steve said over his shoulder, walking away slowly. "Like the mess wasn't half your fault."

"I was just trying to help you relax!" And it worked. So. He felt great about his role in things.

Steve chuckled. "You better not be helping anyone else relax," he teased, returning with a bottle of lube and the sheet from the bed.

And a bottle of water.

"I'm not sure what you have in mind with that, but I am willing to give it a shot."

Of course he was.

"Hydrate, you brat," Steve said fondly.

"I'm not judging you," he continued to tease. He just couldn't help himself.

Steve kissed him. "I'm so very abused," he teased.

"Poor, sweet, innocent Steve," Tony replied, punctuation each word with a kiss.

It's very sad," he agreed, draping himself over Tony again and pressing him further into the sofa.

"Oh, my," Tony said, going along with that easily. "Have I tired you out?"

Steve laughed. "Hardly, sweetheart," he said, shifting around to half-ass put the sheet over the parts of the poor, abused sofa they weren't laying on.

It went...less well.

Tony did literally nothing to help him with that, instead he was trying not to laugh as he kissed Steve's neck.

Because he was awesome like that.

"You complete brat," Steve said, grinning at him.

"I'm just helpless in the face of all this," Tony explained, running a hand down Steve's chest.

Steve laughed, blushing. "Helpless, huh?"

"Completely helpless," he replied, giving Steve's ass a playful squeeze.

[heroic_jawline]

"You don't seem all that helpless," Steve said, slicking his fingers up and rubbing them together to warm them up. "Still able to string words together, for instance."

[imafuturist]

"I'm a talkative guy," he replied, biting his lip as he watched Steve get things ready.

[heroic_jawline]

"And I love that about you," Steve said, sliding his fingers along Tony's inner thigh.

"Flatterer," he said, inhaling sharply and trying to move to make it easier for Steve to press those fingers into him.
